Has anyone used this CO2 regulator? Opinions?

Basically, I'm a noob at pressurized CO2. As in never owned a setup before. Does that JBJ regulator have everything I need aside from the tank? I already have CO2 tubing, check valve and reactor for my DIY setup, so really I am just looking to see if I can buy that and the cylinder and be ready to go.

By the picture, it looks like the same co2 regulator my girlfriend has on her planted tank. It came in a co2 regulator kit. She hasnt complained about it or anything. And you should know; she complains a lot when her aquarium stuff is messed up.

its not the best but it works. should have everything you need and want.

as Mgamer said not the best but it does work. the regulator body it's self is fine it's just some people find the needle valve is not that good and can slip. here is a review of it over at the planted tank.

JBJ and Milwaukee are about the same. Regulator is good, but on both the needle valve is a little...well, it's just hard to reach a desired bpm...it takes patience.

The regulator is good and it has nice accessories if you ever want to split it into 2,3 or even 6 lines.

That's the one on my tank. Have had it "forever". Works OK, just hard to adjust the needle valve. If you have it on a controller--then it does not really matter.

I am happy with it.

PS--Buy some rubber "O" rings. They get destroyed whenever you change CO2 tanks.

Thank you all for the helpful comments. It seems from the review on TPT that you can replace the needle valve later if you need to, and that is the biggest complaint about it.

Their's doesn't come with electronic control....for whatever that's worth.
