accidentally forgotten to add declorinator to your tank and killed some or all of your fish?

I didn't make this a public poll, so please be honest in your answer. I'd like to know if I'm the only one who had a brain fart in the past :(

Can't say I have. I usually don't use de-chlorinator though, when I do my 10-15% water changes I don't feel like it's too big of a deal. If I was going to drain more than that, then I may use some.

No, I have never forgotten, my husband on the other hand has, and killed our fish.

I've kind of forgotten, I poured in the water without the dechlorinator, then realized it and put some drops in. The water was only in there for a couple of seconds before I put the dechlorinator in.

I voted the third option.

I don't typicly use declorinator either on the city water I get. Only if the levels of clorine are higher than normal do I use it, and then only cause I can't stand the levels so I don't make the fish deal with it.

Any fish I've lost have been due to other reasons.

If I age the water, it doesn't need declorinator.
If I don't age the water...I don't forget it.
I'f I'm topping off a tank I don't consider that it needs declorinator because the amount of chlorine will be so small.
