hello everybody.. i had bought a lot of thing in my tank... my fish are (check sig.). im having trouble wit alge can i add ghost shrimp or oto fish...

ghost shrimp will only pick at hair algae, and aren't good eaters IME. otos need groups, and you are on the edge of overstocking as it is. I wouldn't add anything to your tank. just scrape the stuff off.

Hi,

Maybe you could get some Malaysian Trumpet Snails. They are small and in my personal experience they do eat algae.

Cory Lover

I'd move the pair of cory cats into a second tank and increase their numbers, then put a pair of ottos in your main tank.

But I'm always looking for an excuse to buy a second tank....

can i put a snail..? which snail can i put tat wont lays egg..

I've never had a snail that didn't become lunch for one of my bettas, but then my bettas are generally aggressive on the whole *shrugs*.

all you need is just one snail and it won't reproduce, IME. *but i still have that mysterious baby snail in my tank...*.

I have a pond snail that's doing quite well, and i haven't seen any geen in my tank (except the plants, of course!)
