HELP FISH HAVE BLOOD SPOT

My Bleeding Heart Fish have developed a red blood like area just before the back fin begins. I have never seen this before. 4 have it and 2 do not? What can this be? How do I fix it?

How do you fix it? Use melafix and pimafix You can easily find them in lfs be sure to remove your carbon before introducing the medication. Instead of full dosing, use 3/4 half and dose accordingly to the instructions

Are you sure it's not just developing colour? Bleeding hearts are named for that beautiful redness, and if they're young, new, happy, or in the mood, it could be the reason.

I think you may be right. I see that each of them has a different amount of red on the beginning of the back fin. I'll watch them and see if the red seems to spread.
I'll also pick up some melafix or pimafix just in case. I changed about 40% of water and cleaned up gravel. Tks
