Hey guys, i am trying to convince my dad that the reason i gave away my common/comet goldfish is because they get enormous and i couldn't provide adequate space for them. Can you guys post some pictures of them fully grown for him to see?

im trying to compile a bunch of pics here so i can send him the link instead of emailing him a huge email that will take days to load and then send

Thanks
idk why but flaringshutters pictures never show up for me
but thanks for the post, the other one worked, besides, its the thought that counts! :D

Fishbase.org (one of the best resources for accurate information on actual max. size, natural parameters, etc.) has Carassius auratus listed at 59cm (that's 2 feet).

Oh my! dangerdoll thats one heck of a goldfish. the second and third pics didn't show up on my computer

The top one definitely looks like a koi, third one could be but could be a goldfish or a hybrid. Second one didn't come up on my computer. It is important to distinguish between koi, carp, and goldfish.

I would just google images 'world record goldfish', 'huge goldfish', and things like that.
