Help! i Got a mystery fish!

I have a 10 gallon tank and i have 2 zebra danios and 3 serpae tetra´s in it but my main thing is that i have a fish in my tank and i have no clue what type he is.

I kinda saved him from a bunch of feeder goldfish i saw it was different but at first i thought it was a female Guppy.

If anyone can tell me what kind of fish that is that would be great :):)

Plus i want to know what kind becuase i think he is nipping at one of my Danois.
 
It looks a lot like a Mosquito Eater (Gambusia sp. aff. Affinis) and is from the Poeciliidae family. They are very hardy fish and are usually kept in ponds.

Agree with the above, looks like a female Gambusia sp. Maybe Gambusia holbrooki (Eastern Mosquitofish, aka Plague Minnow)
 
Thank you for all the answears :) It´s ether the skeeter one or a femal guppy,she seems to glow a blue color when i put some light on her/him,that kinda sounds like a guppy.

I named that fish Cotton...i wasn´t sure if it was a she or a he but i think its a she.

Getting a better picture has been hard because she wont stop moving around but i did find an older picture of her,about 2 weeks from now.

If it is a Mosquitofish then could i mix it with some male Guppy´s? i have wanted some for a while i just love them :)

The orientation of the eyes leads me to think its a mosquitofish. pointed upward to see the buggers land on the water ;)

I dont see why you couldnt keep them together. They are of a separate genus so I dont think theres fear of crossbreeding. I think mosquitofish like a bit colder water, but then again they got 'em in texas!! Im not really sure though. You should wait for someone who knows more about these guys to answer. :)

Gambusia often have a pale blue tint under lighting so that doesn't eliminate the possibility.

From what I can see it looks like a female but the photos aren't clear enough to be positive. Sexing is the same as for guppies, males have the stick like anal fin (gonopodium) females have a rounded anal fin.

You could, Gambusia will thrive in most water conditions, I have them in my brackish tank (food for my Butis butis), Salinity at 8ppt, 28C and the ones that have survived a few months, without being eaten, seem perfectly happy and healthy. If you do decide to introduce to your guppies keep a close eye on the tank over the following days, mosquitofish can be very aggressive fin nippers.

I'll see if I can get some reasonable photos of the ones in my brackish tank, Gambusia holbrooki, that may be helpful.

Wow i must say that i was plesantly suprice by all the answears and the help :D :D

I FINALLY got a better picture of my fish but not untill i had to move her because she was nipping a little too much at my Danio and my new guppy so she is a little upset with me for moving her to a 5 gallon one :o

I put her back in cooler water like she was when i got her and she seems to be doing fine.

I was so sure she was a guppy at first because she was in a group of feeder fishes and usually they are young goldfish or like they call them "Tuffy´s".

I might be able to see what she really is when she gets a little bigger or/and older :)
