Help me identify this fish

i dont see it looking like a cichlid, maybe a jaguar cichlid?
well feed it alot so it gets big fast and we can see more pics lol...im kidding :soda:
 
someone had a picture under their name on another post and it looked sorta like that fish, i asked them what it was and they said it was a nile perch
whatta ya think?
 
This is not a nile perch. It looks like an archer fish to me, but the colors are a little off, mayba a varient of some kind.
 
oh ok lol
ive been going crazy trying to find pictures of a nile perch and all i could find is this huge beast :o

Its most likely one of the SA or CA cichlid species. Not an Archer, and highly doubt its a young peacock bass. However it also looks similar to Largemouth and smallmouth bass fry. Basically time will tell, you should be able to get some identifying features coming out in the next few months.
