IMAG0343.jpg IMAG0344.jpg IMAG0339.jpg IMAG0340.jpg Hello guys!

I need a little help identifying some freshwater plants I found at my LFS. I would also like to know if they are suited for a low tech planted tank.

Thx a lot in advance!

I'll guess first
Amazon sword
ludwegia repans "red" or similar
hemianthus micranthemoides, HM or babies tears (not dwarf HC)
rotala sp. maybe green? indica? rotundifolia? The white vein helps but there's a lot of confusion

I have grown all in medium light (2 x T-5 bulbs) & no co2. The sword would like a root tab near it. I'm a terrible fertilizer for dry or liquid, but root tabs I do.

Many plants are grown emersed (leaves out of water, roots in) & leaves may change as they adapt to your tank. It helps to plant only 2 or 3 stems in a bunch & be gentle, gravel can crush the stems or roots. I make a trough with my finger, hold the plant in there & backfill. Your sword may be planted a bit too deep, you want the "crown" (where roots & leaves connect) just a tiny bit above the substrate.
