My female swordtail has a very swollen tail and it's having a very hard time swimming it almost looks like it's tail is going to rip of and I don't know what to do someone please help me.

Could you give more info, like tank occupants, water params, and a more detailed description? It would help people narrow down a problem.
Now this thread has been bumped back up to the top, so hopefully someone has some suggestions.

thank you everyone for helping me with my problem, i finaly found out what is wrong with my fish she has fungus, so yesterday i went to petco and got some mardel med for her and she looks a litle beter and calmer, i also changed so water and put in a new filter in that i just got this one is really good it's a 40 gallon one it works great now my water is crysrel clean and my fish look way beter, anyway my fish looks like she is heeling and im happy.

Thank you everyone for helping i couldn't of done it with out the help.
