Im not a newbie but I have searched the web and can find nothing.
I have a 45cm spiney eel - that has thickish (maybe 2-3mm) rubbery looking white threads hanging out of its anus.
It doenst always have them - but when it does it looks like they are about 3cm long and look like that fake shreaded crab meat.
She eats the same diet everyday - which is varied in nutrients.
No feeder fish and does not eat any tankmates.
What is this?????
