Help my sharks are killers!

I got 2 Black Fin Sharks (the ones that look like catfish) and they killed my alge eater. What kind of tank mates do yall suggest and how can I keep them from killing an other alge eater?

What size tank are they in? The only way to keep them from killing the other algae eater (what kind is it?) is to seperate them.

20 gallon and the alge eater is one of those sucker fish thingys

You might want to specify because not only are the Chinese algae eaters suckermouthed, but so are the catfishes of the family Loricariidae, which includes "plecos", otos, etc.
