Help needed in sexing my Jack Dempseys

Can someone please help us identify our two Jack Dempseys? We think the one on the left is male and the one on the right is female... ??‍

Well, I'll guess male on the left, female on the right in both pics. I'm judging by the pointed dorsal & anal fins vs the rounded fins on the "female". They're just testing out their readiness to breed...I hope you have a plan for when they do...That's been my hardest thing with easy breeding cichlids...what's next?

That's a cichlid way of "hey baby, nice to meet you"...& "lets go!". They're not real subtle in the romance department, lol. More caves may help, I see you have a pleco, any other fish in with them?

Yes. We have an Oscar and a Black Fin Catfish.

Uh oh, I hope you weren't thinking of raising any fry. Still, it's fun to watch the breeding behaviors & caviar or roe for everyone!! Plus you won't have to worry about what to do with fry, it gets old after the first few times...
