ive got a tiger oscar oh well a pair but thay have been fighting and when i got home to day i noticed that the smaller one has been descaled on both sides the oscar is about 7inch ive got it in a tank by its self now with multicure in the tank will the fish regrow its scales or is it domed

keep the water clean with lots of water changes and try melafix, not sure what multicure is but i have had great outcomes with melafix.

i had a clownloach that escape death by a flowerhorn with teeth marks along it's side cure and is almost all gone. the only thing showing is a slightly darker arch where the teeth cut through.

If they are fighting that bad It is probably a good idea to seperate them or sell one off even if they are male and female. Sometimes they do not like the "partner" they have been paired with.

what size is your tank? unless it's at least 120 gallons, you cannot keep two mature oscars in the same tank ... particularly if they happen to be two males or a male and a female. since it's not possible to sex oscars until they are sexually mature, i'd strongly urge you to separate these fish permanently, get that smaller one healed up and then take it back to the LFS.
