so i bought 2 kuhli loaches 2 weeks ago and everything seemed fine until bout 3 days ago when one of the loaches started having " seizures " and yesterday it started to swim on its back... there is no problem with the other loach and the other the fish... my water parameters are ammonia: 0 nitrite:0 nitrates: 15 temp: 77

I have had these loaches before and they seemed very hardy. LOL I didn't kill them :D You didn't mention the physical condition of its body? Maybe it got cut on something, scraped or squashed? They like to curl up in the bottom around the base of the plants and lay under rock crevices ect. Sometimes they seem missing for a good period of time and then walah! out of no where they show up again. If the gravel is small and smooth they bury themselves. So if he got cut or stuck under something I would think that could cause them to swim sporadically. If you have a quarantine tank you might dip it out and put him in that to keep an eye on him. If he does have some abrassions the other fish will be apt to pick on him and make it worse, or if it is a disease it could spread.

Just keep an eye on it for now. Loaches are goofey acting sometimes..
If I were to think anything might be wrong, could possibly be ich and he's scratching. Do you see any spots like a grain of sand on him?
