Help! Which fish do I keep, if any?

Ok, now the plan is to keep pleco, the 2 giant danios, congo tetra, the 2 cory cats. And get more so that I have 6 of each of those (excluding pleco).

Guess I won't bother keeping glass barbs, if that's what they are (probably). Don't like them as much.

The loach (if it is a loach) is very small right now, like an inch. He doesn't seem to be that colorful like some loaches, so if he needs buddies or gets bigger than maybe 4" I guess I'd rather rehome him. Only have one.

Anyone know if PetSmart will give credit or not? Maybe better luck with a independent store? Do they just give like $1-$3 credit for most fish? If it's going to be like 1/4 or less of the fish retail prices then it seems better to give them to a person who wants fish at 1/4 or 1/3rd the retail price. Although that is a little more work.

I put them in their new home: pleco, 2 giant danios, congo tetra, 2 cory cats. The tetra is so pretty now that I am seeing it in decent light and water.

I'm thinking of keeping the loach (and getting him buddies). He is pretty. I guess he's tan/brown striped. Or maybe getting a different loach later on with bluish coloring would be great. Would he be happy with different loaches as buddies? I think it's cute how they stick to the sides. Well, especially cute when they are tiny like he is.

Petsmart has a policy against taking any fish, for credit or not. You'll have better luck with independents. Or you could craiglist them.

Congos are beautiful, especially when you get them in schools. I think you have a pretty good plan going, considering the hodgepodge of fish you started with.

Not sure what the "loach" is, but if it's sticking the to glass like that, it's probably not a loach. If he is a loach, he'll probably want buddies of his own kind. The description sounds like a chinese algae eater to me. If it is, it'll eventually end up pretty big and usually nasty.

Y1.jpg - Super closeup of the one that was potentially a loach. Wanting more information on this tiny guy, to know whether I should keep him. He has sort of a striped brown pattern I think. With this pic and most of the pics, some of the fish's patterns got "washed out" by the camera flash. (Those cory cats are not actually albino at all, they have some reddish and blueish it seems.)

Better views of a few of the other fish, I think one was not identified yet.

If I am going to have the 6 giant danios and 6 congo tetras, that's a lot which are mostly silver, it's okay I suppose.
