Looks nothing like fungus. Looks more like columnaris. Only microscopic examination of a skin scraping would really allow diagnosis.

I suggest searching for columnaris on Google, and if it is what your fish has, then buying the appropriate remedy.

I am not sure it is columnaris, however i think i will treat the tank with some KMnO4 as it kills off most diseases like this, and is recomended for columnaris. However my tank will be minded as i have to go away for 4 weeks so i dont know if anything can really b done. I think ill just cross my fingers and hope it is still there when i get back

is your fish in a community tank? if it is it might not be such a good idea to leave it in there while you are away. It may spread the disease or if it dies it will pollute the water.

If its in a quarentine tank then a general tonic sounds like a good idea.

Yeah i just got back as i have a day off tommorow but my brother didnt take it out like i asked him but it hasnt changed verry mutch. Ill take some more pictures tommorow and move him out then. I am too tired to do it now.
