I have a 50 gallon tank right now with 3 clown loaches, 1 rainbow shark, and 10 zebra danios that were used for cycling the tank. I am going to be getting some angels. I was wondering if this fish will be able to live with them. Dont worry about filtration, i have a undergravel filter with a powerhead and a penguin 200

Black Ghost's grow upards of 18"-20" long.
A 50 gallon tank would be fine for a small BGK but you would need a larger tank in a few months. Minimum tank size would be 100 gallons and 180 gallons would be ideal.

your tank is overstocked already. your clowns will get far to large for your tank. they grow to over 14 inches long and will need 180 gallons. rainbow sharks get aggressive towards other fish in the tank, especially ones that swim around the bottom of the tank.

dont put angels with the fish you have. all three kinds will stress the angel out; the clowns will nip their fins, danios stress them out, and RTBSs are jsut plan aggressive.

i will be getting a bigger tank eventually but not right now im only 15 and dont have the money, my grandpa had many more fish than this and he was ok, i am using his old tank too that he used

now, i have my Black Ghost knife in my 55g, going to be moved to a bigger tank soon... but he fits in there fine and i've had him for almost 6 months. People say that they grow rapidly, but i wonder how many of you have honestly had them in your tanks?? Mine has grown maybe an inch and a half since the purchase, and no hes not stunted. I wouldnt honestly reccomend puting him into your exact tank because your tank already sounds pretty stocked, but if you get one that is relativly small, like 4-6 inches he would fit in there fine for a while. And btw i might be wrong but arent a RBTS and a red tailled shark very much alike?? Oh and also, the clowns will get large, but once again you do have time, there not going to be 14" in a matter of weeks.... more like years just make sure that they dont appear to be to big for your tank and if they do work on a new home, trust your own judgement on them, and you'll know when they are too big

All of my fish are babies right now and i am thinking about bringing the zebra danios back to the store and see if someone wants them cuz i just got them to cycle the tank, no one try to shoot me yet this is just a question, but i have heard that bgk attack angels

thhey can both attack each other, angels will nip the fins sometimes but mostly, IME BGK are pecefull unless the fish is really small
