So the fry in my 75g are doing well and have been eating egg yolk. So, my uncle gave me an old 10g. I have a heater but only have hob filters or air stones. How can I use these for a fry tank. I want to pull half of them out of my display tank and leave the others since the parents are doing so well. I may end up killing them before they die in the community tank. I figure I will see who can keep them alive the longest. 8C143A98-4CC2-4D2E-9896-974EA7266E49.jpeg

Air stone and water changes should keep the water clean enough.

If you wanna use a hob filter, jam the intake into a lump of sponge, or cover it in in something with a fine mesh, like a filter bag or cut up an old pair of tights, whatever you have around.

Well I just looked in the tank and looks like there might only be 7 fry left. They are all hanging by the java tree so some may be hiding but looks like they are either dying or someone is eating them.
