I have a 33 gallon hex up and running. I now hav in it 3 corydoras, 6 fancy guppies, and 3 harliquen Rasboras. I am looking for a colorful fish to go with it I have always liked the gouramis but the last one we had was very aggressive. I have a lot of energy in the tank now so The new fish can be lazy to try and balance it out. WHat do you think. The tank has a lot of action at the top because the rasboras are in the middle and the guppies stay at the top. Thank in advance.

sounds like you have a descent mix already.

any lazy fish may get intimidated by the active fish...or get pissed off at the busy fish..kind of like a fly buzzing around yourhead
but I'm sure someone may have an answer.

Sorry corection I only have 3 guppies right now I have 4 more babies in a nother tank but they are too small to put into the tank. I Love the way the gourami looks but I dont want to loose the other fish. Would a dwarf work in this tank?
