Its me again and i have another dumb question.
I have a ten gallon tank with:
8 blue legged crabs
1 scarlet
4 turbo snails
2 cerith snails
and a starfish
as my cleanup crew
They don't seem to be doing there job as much as i would like. THere is quite a lot of green hair algae and lots of other little things that could be cleaned by them but doesn't seem to be getting cleaned. I was wondering if i need more snails or crabs or what?
I was also planning on getting a couple nessarius snails, but i need some advice on what i'm lacking in the tank. I also have a ocellaris clown and a purple firefish which could also be affecting all this algae growth. I also thought that maybe it was my lighting cuase i upgraded to a 96 W powercompact lighting. My light is on 12 hours of the day cause i will be getting coral soon. My turnover rate is 16X and i don't think i have any dead spots anymore. Where is all this algae coming from. DO i just need more patience or what?

dont listen to BB1112, Up your flow, Limit your photic period for 3 weeks from 12HRs to 6Hrs. I would also do a water change, the thing with 10G tanks aka nano they need more water change then huge tanks, I think following these steps will help you. if you are overtly concerned there's a fish called a lawnmower blenny, they look like a booger but I have 3 in my tank and they keep all my algae in check because my stars hermits and snails just keep getting eaten by my betta.
