will extremely high solinity be the cause of my mushrooms shrinking right up becuase my solinity is at 1.029 right now and my other water perams are good.
the typical Surface Ocean Value of salinity is usually between 1.025-1.027 so i dont really think that your salinity would be the problem. Try adding some fresh water to your tank until its between 1.025 and 1.027. Also what are your water parameters Good doesnt tell us much.
your calcium is extremely low to have corals. You need to go buy some calcium for the tank and get it up. The typical Surface Ocean Value for calcium is 420 however it is safe to be within 380-450 ppm. The best form of calcium i would recommend would be Kalkwasser (think thats how you spell it). Try getting that up and keep it up if you plan on keeping corals. Corals depend on Calcium for forming their skeletons.
