What is the main cause of Hemorhagic Septicemia (red/bleeding streaks on fins and body) This is mostly the only disease I get, and treat it w/ jungle fungus clear, which clears it after a day.. Always appears on my small koi first, water parameters are ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 30, I do weekly 40% w/c's or even twice a week if i'm up for it..Anyone please??

The disease is caused by a bacteria that attacks vascular walls

Try feeding your fish Jungle Anti-Bacterial Medicated Fish Food when you first see any symptoms. It must be fed as the only food for at least 5 days to work, but it really works. Occasionally I feed my fish this food for 2 or 3 days as a preventative measure.

anyone know whats the cause of it? can't be water parameters, they are gooodddddd

there are actually two types of Hemorrhagic septicemia.
one is bacteial the other is viral.
bacterial septicemia is treated with antibiotics. it is a bacteria that is in the blood(similar to blood poisoning) anti bacterial food is the best means to combat thei bacterial septicemia.
the other is viral..you cannot treat the virus but you can treat secondary bacterial infections.
the virus must run it's course.
both are most likely introduced to the system especially the viral form.

It is a bacterial infection that usually attacks fish when water quality is going south. I have use EM Erythromycin from API to successfully treat it.

Increase your water changes to improve you water quality. If it is viral it will help your fish cope better as good water is essential good health.
