--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

High guys, I was given a hexagon 60g tank, very nice, but I understand it is not the ideal tank to hold fish. I was hoping to get some feed back on what kind of habitat I could set up here. What would be the ideal aquatic match up for this type of tank?

Thanks in advance

It could actually make a nice display.

A tall pile of live rock, with the more light-hungry corals near the top, and less demanding corals lower down. Maybe a single 250 watt pendant metal halide fixture over the center. Several powerheads to keep water circulating. It could be a nice reef. Or, with that much height, you could also try a seagrass tank with a deep bed of sand.

There are lots of possibilities, you just have to be sure that you get enough circulation to move water with that much depth, and intense enough light if you want to keep corals.

What were you thinking about?

I have the same thing but its a 60L hexagon. seems to be going fine, little pile of rock and im going to go for smaller fish once it done cycling
