Hello everybody! I'm new to your forum, although not new to fishkeeping. My husband and I started up with this wonderful hobby a few years ago. Still much to learn, but we've certainly come a long way so far.

I have two tanks myself, a 30 gallon and a 20 gallon. My 30 gallon residents are yoyo loaches, cherry barbs and cardinal tetras. My 20 gallon residents are a rainbow (or ruby) shark and tiger barbs.

I find that I'm always changing the appearance of my tanks and am really happy with the 30 right now. However, the 20 needs some work. I've spent some time swapping fish from tank to tank, as I learn who works best with whom. So, now that I've essentially got a "new" tank with the ruby and the tigers, I find myself in need of giving them the best habitat that I can.

I don't do well with live plants, and so I'm headed in the direction of utilizing artificial plants, along with some real rock and a combo of real and artificial driftwood. Oh, they also have a buddha in with them to keep good juju.

I'm sure you guys have some great tanks set up from which I could steal, I mean borrow, ideas. If someone could point me towards the location of those tank pictures, I'll be forever grateful.

Thanks so much and glad to have found you guys. :dive2:

Hi and welcome to AC! I don't know any links, but I think if you go into "search" at the top of the page, then to "search forums" with keywords like "pictures of tanks" or something similiar it would show the threads with pics. everyone loves to show their tanks here. Again, welcome to AC and enjoy our community!

Hello fellow Nutmegger. There are many CT ppl here so don't think your special!:D J/K Welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy the stay.

I don't spend time decorating and arranging my tanks so it is highly doubtful you will see any of my "attempts". Enjoy the beauty of some of the members efforts and ideas.

Thanks for the welcome! I guess I'm too late to be the CT virgin here. :grinno:

No pictures as yet, although I hope to take pics of the 30 gallon this weekend. My husband said "you're finally happy with it.... you'd better take pictures so you remember what you did!"

I ended up looking through the TOTM threads. Wow! You guys are certainly creative. I think I printed off about 20 different freshwater tank ideas. I've been seriously holding back on putting in enough plants. I've got some work cut out for me, but I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend. :)

Great to have you here!
