New to the hobby and here to soak up knowledge from yer experiences. Started with a little 10 gallon freshwater with several species of Tetra, and jumped to a 55gal in less than a year. Lovin' it - but it's quite sparse right now, as I carefully consider what to fill it with. It's planted, sparsely for now, with plants transferred from the 10gal, and the only fishy additions so far have been a wonderful little Carinotetraodon travancoricus that has captured my heart, a ghost shrimp and an Otocinclus.
I'm interested in Discus, or other species with similar personality characteristics, but have to consider compatibility with plants and existing tankmates. Any suggestions?:dive:
