Hey guys. My name is Phillip, though I go with Phil. I like bettas and pufferfish. When I was younger, my father had a Mbu Puffer living with his arowana and oscar, which sparked my interest in fishkeeping. The Mbu recognized me and followed my fingers, and he always swam around happily when he saw me, so it was then when I decided that pufferfish were my favorite fish. I'm also a big fan of bettas, particularly the koi ones and the crowntails. I love cool fish like the zebra pleco and black neons too.

Right now, I have one 37 gallon planted community tank measuring 25 x 17 x 20 inches and it houses the following:

1 Male Crowntail Betta
1 Dwarf Puffer
1 Zebra Pleco
1 Scarlet Badis
2 Oto
3 Kuhli Loach
4 Julii Cory Cats
5 White Cloud Mountain Minnows
6 Black Neon Tetra.

The Dwarf Puffer got into the tank by accident. When I bought a plant from the fish store, he was hiding in it and none of the staff noticed him so he came along into my tank. I decided to leave him there first and see if he was aggressive or peaceful. To my surprise, he got along very well with the fishes, especially with my betta, Rock. They hid together in the same cave and swam around together. However, I noticed that recently, he had not been eating and staying in the cave most of the time. Is he sick? Thank you.

I feed my fish bloodworms, baby brine shrimp, mosquito larvae, as well as shelled peas. Sometimes when I run out of supplies, I feed them Vitalis pellets. Hope this helps.
