Thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I'm 40yo fish enthusiast who's been out of the loop for about 12 years or so. My husband and I decided to finally set up a tank. We bought a ten gallon at Walmart and three days later went out and bought a 55 gallon. The ten gallon just didn't do it for us!
We set it up with cichlids as we love their coloring and aggressiveness. We've also both raised cichlids before we met each other so we had some knowledge of what we were getting into.
