I noticed the ad for these today while reading the April issue of "Aquarium Fish International"

It states that it's "for exotic & designer shrimp & it includes "higher levels of vegetable matter herbivorous shrimp prefer, including seaweed & Spirulina"
"It has a mineral profile designed to encourage molting, as well as Copper, a necessary mineral for these creatures, and to expect rapid growth and proper form"

Sounds interesting...

Which part is interesting? We did have a debate regarding copper proteinate before. I'll dig through the threads.

I thought it was interesting to have a food geared towards shrimp :(

Thanks for that link, Lupin. I hadn't seen it either. It was also interesting to learn that Ken recommends the use of garlic to help against parasites, which is another question I've seen debated recently.

I bought some of this food, my only complaint is the size of the food. I can't judge how much they are eating. If you don't have sand, it would get lost in the gravel. It's too big to be a powder (so you can see it get caught in the moss and sponge filters for them to eat) and too small to be a wafer big enough for you too see how much they are eating.
