Hello there

I just bought the Hikari sinking wafers for catfish, loaches and bottom feeders. The disks are sort of small.

Should I use these everyday? Every other day?

I have 4 cories that would be eating it. Is 1 wafer too big for the 4 fish?

I also have flake food but the wafer looks like it is so much easier to find than random flake food which means in the long run it would be cleaner for the tank. So, can I only use the wafers and frozen brine shrimp?

Thanks

oops, posted in the wrong forum.

The really poor "rule of thumb" for fish is that if you want to fill their stomach, a fish's eye is roughly the size of their stomach. I'd feed them half a wafer if you are just feeding 4 fish.

You want to feed fish a variety of foods to both make things more appetizing and balanced. Some "staple" flake (I actually plan on using TetraMin crisps as they are allegedly just as easy to eat, but less messy than, flake), bloodworms, brine shrimp, spirulina cubes, sinking pellets/wafers, etc.
