I would try to see if the LFS will take that knife off of your hands if at all possible, buddy.

yeah. that knife fish is going to cause a lot more problems than you want to deal with. most grow close to 2'. find him a new home and read up on cycling that tank. you have a bit of work ahead of you

well i would love to keep him but in a bigger tank but 2' is just way to big for me and yeah its going to be hard work and heart ache thats for sure
