How big are kuhli loaches?

ILOVEBETTAS

It's Cory Lover's cat!
I'm planning on getting one for my 30 gallon I'm going to get for Christmas... how big are they...? And are they fine with cory cats?

Hi,

Kuhli Loaches can get up to 4 inches (10 cm.). Kuhlis are social fish and you should get at least two, better yet three or four. I'm pretty sure Kuhli Loaches would go well with Cories.

My 4 fat Kuhlis get on fine with my 3 corys....they are a very peaceful species, shy at first, but more visually active as they get bigger and get used to your tank and tankmates.

they like to dig into the substrate also just to let you know.

The loaches and the cories will occupy the same space in the tank, that being the bottom. Make sure there is enough space for all of them to be happy.

I think I have wierd khulies.
Mine like to 'hang' up in the plants durring the day. They just hang there limped over the 'branches' then in the evening they come out to play. Not shy at all. Swim all over and come up to the side to exchange conversation with me :)

I have 3 and they swim together and play alot. The last time I had khulis they hid all the time and burried under stuff...

That is not weird at all...I've seen them do this before. They must really feel comfortable in your aquarium. :)

I accidentally posted in the wrong place. What just happened?
