I used to keep my clown pleco in a 5g, then moved him to a 10g. Now he's in my 37g and seems to be much happier then he was in the 10. Cause I think he's the perfect size for my 37g since he's a lot smaller then what my common was. My dad told me that the Clown pleco is also called a Rock Pleco. Is that true?

that pleco is just fine in the 37g. Clown plecos should get 5-6" I believe and no idea about it maybe being called a rock pleco.

I have had one for 5 years now, and it is 3 inches at the most. It looks to be the same size as yours. They stay small. And are one of the ones that needs wood in it's diet. I have never heard of them refereed to as rock plecos myself.

Then I would find a new home for you pleco.

I'm not going to give up my Clown, I had him for about a year now and seems fine. I spent $12 for him. I may buy a small piece of drift wood once I get a new job or some money. I have a local pet shop near by, I could ask if they have small peices of drift wood, or I'll look for some in the river when I go fishing and rinse it off pretty good.
