Being that the money is in international dollars, I bet the shipping cost from glasscages.com will be atleast 2x times more than the cost of the tank.
Nope. They don't ship tanks over 20gallons :)

What they do is go to a lot of reptile and fish events/shows/expos in the USA with their trucks and bring your tank to the one closest to you.

You drive to the show and pick it up.

For example: I ordered a 65 gallon, sliding glass door, screen topped cage with a stand and canopy and 2x30gallon hinged snake cages with canopies.

They trucked everything to the fish expo in DC a few weeks later and my husband drove there (20 mins) with the van and picked it all up.

No shipping charges at all.

Screw a tank per say, you need a olympic sized swimming pool to stock the fish you 'think' you want.
Start calculating the associated cost too, monthly bills...
Heating, filtration and lighting add up to whopping big electrical bills.
Just as big water bills.
And the food bill!

Then there's the fact that these fish live for decades...
If you ever have to move you will be very very hardpressed to find homes for them.

Can you commit to these fish? If not then you'd be guilty of abuse and neglect in my book.

These two fish would eat the Black shark and Oscars.

well th peacoks dont get that big in a tank and the black sharks get 2ft so if any got eaten it would be the jd's

screw it 500gallon

3arrowannas
2tiger oscars
3green terrors
15clown loachs
3jack dempseys
3texascichlids
2plecos

(Chile shakes his head at a mis-informed/ignorant statement.)
The only way that their not gonna grow to their full potential is if they are stunted from a insufficient habitat.
They will grow rapidly up to a certain size then continue to grow slowly for the rest of their lives, many folks confuse this slow growth and/or stunting for fish growing only to the size of their captive habitat.
the Redtail would eat the Blacks, Oscars and JD's and the Peacock would eat the O's and JD's.

The Arrowanna's would wipe everything out as they would grow much much faster then the other fish. You need to either stick with the "Big" fish or stick with the "Medium" fish.

If doing a 500 gallon I would go with a couple arrowana's, a few bigger cats (not huge) and some lower jaw bichirs.

If you want more "Medium" fish (around 12" adult size), then go with the cichlids listed above.

Doesn't anyone else feel that they're hanging out under a bridge right now???
