How do I make this stop!

Ok, the last few days when I'm on line...I get a pop up to "connect" now I have broad band I am always connected, so I know it is not my internet connection, b/c my modem lights are still green when this happens. My screen freezes and it wont let me do anything, I click it off and try to go to my mozilla and the thing pops back up....what do I do to make it stop, I went in my internet connections and I see nothing there to uninstall?

Within Internet Explorer.....Click on tools, then interney options, then Connections. Ensure that the box is dotted in the middle of this screen for " Never Dial a connection ". This will tell internet explorer "not" to look for another connection if data flow is somehow interupted between dsl modem..





For Firefox, slightly differnet settings...

Click on Tools, then options

1) Advanced
2) Network
3) Settings
4) Ensure "Direct Connection to the Internet" is dotted...

Thanks Niko!! In Mozilla, it was already like that. When I went in to IE, though it has Broadband AND Broadband2(default) should it have both those?? Should I remove one? It had the dial when a connection is not present, so I did switch it.

Yeah, Thanks gamer! I've had this for about 2yrs now though and this is the first time I've had this happen?
