Ok, I can't separate them.

I am moving in a couple of weeks and a professional fish moving is coming in on the 28 of November. My Bristlenose keep breeding. I have 20 fry that are about 1.5 cm (Just under an inch) and some more eggs on the way. as soon as they hatch the female will lay more. what do I do?

If you can't seperate them then you may want to sell them, or trade them to a LFS for credit.

Well then you're making money off them right? So why would you want to stop breeding them?

Otherwise, get a seperate tank. Separate those dirty birds. I say let them breed! Make love, not war!

Unless you are willing to separate them then there is nothing you can do. My cories are the same way these days.

If I understand you right, you want to stop them from breeding temporarily, so you can move the setup without disrupting dad and his eggs, right? I'd get a divider, and split the tank up. That way they will still see each other, and she might lay more eggs, but he won't be able to fertilize them, and they'll just be eaten. No harm, no foul, little stress.

haha, slutty fish. . . . . is there anything you do specially to help them breed ( cooler water, special feeding, large water changes) or do they do it all by themselves? i'm looking forward to having my own bn babies when mine grow up. i wonder if albinos are more expensive?

Yeah my little horny devils are at it again, the female has laid egss, again a week after the last lot. the male fertilised them overnight and the FEMALE is looking after them, they are unstoppable!

My suggestion for breeding them is lots of hiding spaces, regular water changes, lots of algea and tablets and driftwood.

And also just one pair for breeding. Any more and they get competitive and don't settle, this is a common problem.
