Of course, I'll start.

First, get a good cut of meat. I chose a nice New York strip for this one.

Add beer (to your stomach)

Now....while the meat is warming to room temp, gather the spices/sauces.
I use Shoups (made in Indiana) Montreal steak seasoning, and a mixture of soy sauce and sesame seed oil (very little oil).

brush the mixture onto the steak and sprinkle on the seasonings (lightly) Let it set for 10 minutes on each side.

Cook for 4 minutes over hot coals on each side. Flip it once

Let the cooked steak set for 10 minutes before eating....it's important
Enjoy!!!:D

Sorry, I don't like mine still mooing when it gets off the grill...
I'm a well done kinda gal...take a parasitology class in college...you'll like well-cooked food too ;)
Actually, to be serious, I just don't like the texture of rawish meat...or a cold center... (I think we need an "ewwwww" emoticon...)

I dont like jerky. I second the need for an "ewwwww" emoticon.
I took a few anatomy/physiology classes in college and this issue was discussed. I don't care:) I refuse to ruin a good cut of meat lol

I knew the well done crowd would show up (Nothing well about it though) so I made a steak for you too:)

You can discuss it all you want, but until you actually excise one out of a piece of meat....way nasty (where is that darn "ewwwww" icon when we need it?!)
Let me clairify. I like my meat medium well. A small slice of pink in the center, fully heated...not charbroiled and dry. Cooked slowly under the right temp, with a good marinade, it stays moist...so ;P to you!

30 seconds each side. Anything more and you might as well eat charcoal. Must be bloody and cold in the center.

steak looks good, but i don't like eating helplessly slaughtered organisms for our own satisfaction!

I cook my steaks the way my Dad once described:

"Dock the horns, wipe it's butt and run it across the fire twice!"
