Is there a special way to prepare zucchini for the fishies? Mine's for my cories and whoever else wants it.

I dropped it in raw and they're completely ignoring it. A ghost shrip poked at it for about 5 seconds.

I boil it for a minute.
I just got ready to type up my favourite zuchini recipe after reading the thread title - but then i saw it was for your fish. ;)

I just skin mine and screw a stainless bolt into the bottom so it sinks. It may take awhile before your fish get used to eating it.

I put it in raw. The fishes ignore it for the first night. Then they eat the whole thing including the skin wthin two days. I use two 1" slices every week for my 72G. Both my clown pleco and clown loaches love zucchini.

Cut it up into slices and individually pack them in foil or something. Then freeze them, this destroys the cell walls making it a little mushy and easier to eat.

I slice, spread on waxed paper on a cookie sheet and freeze over night. Sort the slices into small baggies for storage until needed, storing the small baggies in a larger heavy duty bag to slow freezer burn.
