As an uneducated newbie, I was sold two common plecos. It was from my small LFS. They don't rebuy. I know that these two beauties are going to out grow my 55 g. One is about 6 in and one is about 5. How do you find homes for commons....since they are so common? I want to make sure they go to someone that will love them as I do, but have no idea how to find a place for them. Any ideas? (I live in the D/FW area)

Why not post an ad here, or on craigslist? I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that love common plecos, I know I do.

Would those survive in a pond in your area? For the winter I mean.

We will have 10 or so days of below freezing, total....not in a row. Ponds never freeze over. My dad has a pond that has catfish and bass in it, if that is a good option I would consider it. If they would love the "wild", that is.

I definitely will post on here and Craigslist. I want them to go somewhere they can be fat and happy!
