I am not sure how to use this completely so before I get it I would like to understand it. If you could clarify this for me so I can see if it will work for me.

Question 1: The part that you drill and mount to the plexi glass (the floating part) Does that turn the water on and off?

Question 2: If the floating part is what turns the water on and off what is the other white splitter part in the pic above it? What does that do?

Question 3: I see in the White splitter part the blue clean water goes into the splitter and then down to the floating part. Also i notice the yellow waste water goes into the white splitter? Does this white splitter thing shut the waste water off from the ro unit as well?

Question 4: Will the Waste water from the RO unit be shut off as well as the clean water from the or unit? or will the waste water always be running?

Lots of questions just really need to know how this works before I get it and try and make it work...

Thanks guys for the help

You know man i use the float valve to shut my RO water off. the problem with only having this though is the water continues to go through the RO unit but it is all pumped out the waste line and down the drain. I have the same Coralife shut-off valve but never could figure it out. It either continued to let water run even after the Float shut the water off or it wouldnt allow any water to flow at all. I dont know why they dont come with directions on how to hook them up. Would make life much easier yeah?
