I like to over filter my tanks. I'm thinking 2 XP2's one at each end, rather than an xp3 . I think this will aid in water circulation and eleminate dead zones in the tank. What are your opinions?

How big is the tank, Linda? I can tell you this much-- I have an XP-3 on a heavily populated goldfish 60, and the water is so clean you could nearly drink it. Love 'em! If I had room for 2 XP-2's, I might consider that, but the bases are so large on these units!
I believe the 75 is higher and deeper than a 55 by about 6 inches Instead of a 4 foot by 12 inch base it's 18 inch base. I think the filters will fit in the stand. How long is the return tube on the XP3 they are about a foot long on the xp2 and I thought i'd center them at each end to try to avoid dead spots in the water circulation.
