What kind of price range do you guys think I could expect for a planted, rimless nano tank (under 5 gallon) with high light. I don't plan on having any fish in there, I'm thinking about just having RCS in it but i might put some nano fish. Heres a list of what I want to buy:

-rimless tank
-high light set-up
-co2 set-up (easy for a begginer to use)
-good plant substrate
- SMALL heater (easily hideable)
-SMALL filter (easily hideable)

if you guys could reccomend a place to get them, it would be great. Thanks!

As usual, it depends...

-rimless tank CL, Glasscages.com or ADA from nearly $0 to >$60 range
-high light set-up Desklamp on clearance w/ daylight CFL or LED setup $10 to $100
-co2 set-up (easy for a begginer to use) Complete Pressurized Paintball system $150
(-drop checker & solution) ~$30 (you'll sleep better as will your inverts)
-good plant substrate Pool filter Sand $10, Schultz Aquatic Soil, $5, Eco Complete $20 take your pick
- SMALL heater (easily hideable) 7.5W or 15W fixed $8-$10
-SMALL filter (easily hideable) Azoo Palm or AC20 $9-$30

Have you looked at the new Fluval Flora. I got one from my LFS just before Christmas for $99.00. I haven't set it up yet, but it comes with everything you want except a heater. It's rimless, has a high light, has a pressurized co2 set up, has a filter, comes with substrate and is about 7.5 gallons. I've seen them on-line for about $120.00 (not including shipping).

Foster&Smith has a couple of 3g setups: tank, light, filter, heater. BYO substrate and CO2 (although in such a small tank I would think that more trouble, not to mention expense, than it was worth. ymmv.) This one is $41.99; they have another similar one around $48 but it's showing as on backorder at present.

I'm gonna start asking around to see if I can find one of those, thats a great deal!

thats a nice deal, and I'll take your advice on the Co2. I'll probobly get that if I don't have to pay too much on shipping and don't find the fluval one.

Looks like the Co2 is out the window unless it comes with the tank, rather than create a new thread can you guys give me a good reccomendation for a microfish to go in a nano? I'm thinking something like micro rasboras, no bettas.
