How much light for low tech 10 gallon

10g with sand and driftwood, no Co2. I want to add java moss and anubias nana.

My question is exactly how much light should I put to get the correct balance.

i would just try some power compact screw in bulbs that you can pick up places like walmart or home depot. i been told they now make them up to 42watts per bulb. try with a 27w bulb or something.

I tend to use stip lights for a 15gal tank over a 10- the strip hangs over each end by about 1.5 -2 inches and gets 15 watts over the tank.

thanks, is 28 watts too much without co2?

I have 20 watts over my 10 gallon (2 10 watt screw-in bulbs) and don't use CO2. I do use lots and lots of Flourish Excel though.
