How much salt?

So, I'm a freshwater tank owner. I don't want to set up a saltwater tank or anything, but out of curiosity I was wondering how much salt you guys use per litre or similar amount you use in your tanks? I'm aware that you can use sea-mix and stuff like that, but how much salt?

as much as it takes to make the hydrometer say 1.025..

(about 1/2 a cup per gallon)

about 1/2 cup of sea salt per gallon... you have to use sea salt mix-- u cant just use normal table salt if thats what you are asking
