Hello again ac :)

so my question is, how much time should I allow between adding new fish to the aquarium?

say I buy a school of 5 fish, say tetras. I put the first fish in the tank, then, how long should I wait in between before I add the next one?

Im asking because my ammonia and nitrite levels are at 0, and I want to keep it like that. I want to allow enough time to allow the necessary bacteria to form.

Thanks. :)

I would wait a week unless there is a hurry. Test the water parameters every couple of days and when you see consistant results of 0,0 then you should be alright.

Read the post again....add more when your tests show zero on ammonia and nitrites...

yeah just add em in all at once. 5 fish especially tetras (well depending on the size) wont do anything to the bioload.

and if you're that paranoid, just buy like 3 at a time or something.

Just checking, but the tank did go through a cycle right?

Meaning Ammonia, and trites were above 0 at one time?
