I have a planted 10gl with about 15 adults cherry red shrimp. How often should I feed them? So far they look ok.

Assuming the tank has been established for a while I would say no more than twice a week but once a week or less often would be better.

The shrimp will get plenty of food from grazing on microscopic organisms and algae in the tank.

I was also wondering about this. How often should you feed them if there are also snails in the tank?

2 months sounds long enough for microorganisms to have grown in the tank in my experience.

EDIT: What kind of snails and how many?

Depends on how much you feed them.

I have several shrimp tanks, some of which I feed every day, and others every 2 days.

Watch them eat, and intentionally underfeed them when you do. I am pretty sure that in my tanks where there are 100 or more shrimp, that some dont eat what I feed them every day, but they do in fact eat every day.

For example, in my RCS tank, with about 150 shrimp, I typically feed only 1-2 algae wafers at a time. and a few veggie sticks at a time. (I only feed one type or the other, not both)
When I feed them I notice there is an immediate assault on the food. but many continue to graze on tank algae...

On the other hand I have a few tanks with only 20-30 shrimp, and I feed only 1 wafer at a time, maybe every other day, maybe every 2 days.

I vary the foods, feeding crab & Lobster bites, veggie sticks with calcium, and spirulina wafers. just watch them when you feed. If they dotn make a fast track to the food, then you might be feeding them too often.
