How often should I feed my juvenile angels? I used to have tetras in a smaller tank and fed them once day. However, the angels at feeding time are much more frenzied than the tetras ever were. I have given them a pinch of flakes and some freeze dried bloodworms this morning, which they cleaned up. Even now I can see them picking bits off the substrate/plants etc and if 2 of them notice a stray flake floating they zoom for it like they have not eaten in days.

I don't want to overfeed them, but am not sure how often I should feed them as juveniles. Eventually I will only feed once a day, but for now am not sure if I should up the schedule a little while they are growing.

Thanks.

With juvenile fish it is best to feed them several times a day. I would aim for at least three times if you can, being careful not to leave any uneaten food. Lots of water changes help promote good growth as well, even daily if you have the time and energy.

Thanks, I think I will aim for 3 times a day then. And probably try a water change at least twice a week of 25% or more, especially as I imagine the cleaner water will help their fins to grow back (nipped at the LFS).

feed 3X day and remove uneaten food after 10-15 minutes.
use a small siphon to remove the food and waste. more food = more waste.

25% 2Xweekly is a good start.

as mentioned the young fish will do best in clean water with lots of food.
