How old is your oldest fish?

Mine is almost eight years old. A Polypteris Ornatippinis. I have no idea how long they can live. I hope as long as a human.

I doubt as long as a human, but keep hoping. Mbuna is 10 years in april.

I think it’s a 10 or 15 year spare tire, I mean a Pacu. The bad part is that he has 15 to 20 left.

Oldest currently are 2 Synodontis ocellifer and a Brachysynodontis batensoda, all just over 16, one Pseutropheus trewavasse at 18.

I started my one tank 4 years ago and the tetras in it are now 4 years old. Hopefully they still have a couple of years left in them.

I've got a pink convict that's about 3-4 years old, sadly he is the oldest.

I've had my otto for almost 4 years now, sadly that is the oldest/longest I've had of any that I have right now. a power outage during a heat wave killed most of my fish 2 years ago or so when I was gone, but the otto survived.

Anyone have any pictures of their older fish? I'd be interested to see any differences between young adults and the senior citizens of the tank.
