i hear anoles enjoy fruit baby food. how would i go about feeding it too him? he has a food dish with like.. dried up bugs. and i give him crickets. but i think hed like some baby food. but i dont want to put it in his dish becuase it will make a mess. can i squirt a bit in his mouth?? ( with a seringe, minus the needle) i have no idea.

Ive heard if you just put some on a spoon and put it in front of them they might lick it, some will, some wont..

I would try putting it in his dish the first time, to see if he even likes it.

Once you know that he likes it or not, you can try the syringe or spoon method

Anoles are known to eat the juices of the fruit, like bananas for example. You can try baby food, or a piece of banana. Make sure whatever type you use in within their food group.

You can put a small amount of baby food in a dish or on a rock. But it goes bad pretty quick so remove it after a day. And please get rid of the dead, dried up bugs in the dish. You anole won't eat them. They need live prey seeing how they hunt by sight and go after movement.

I wouldn't put it in his food dish if htere is dried up bugs in there but you could try using the cap of a milk jug or someting similar to see if he likes the baby food. You could also get one of those dishes that go under a plant pot, they are very cheap.

I wouldnt squirt it down his throat. :eek3: I cant imagine it would enjoy the experience. I know I wouldnt, no matter how tasty the treat.

I have seen anoles lick hummingbird sugar water that has dripped on my porch. Just put some in a little side dish.
