I definitely am infested with copepods, and I am trying everything to get rid of them.

So far i have done a daily 50%-75% water change
Gravel Vac daily
Scraping the glass sides

I do feed my fish a lot, however I watch them eat ever time and I have juvenile discus which need to eat often. I make sure that not too much ends up sinking.

They are even on my fish now and nothing has gotten rid of them. How can I kill them, I heard Prazi Pro works, but I would like to know more about it. Does anyone have any experience with Prazi Pro?

wow, that's weird.

I really dont think they're copepods, since your fish arent eating them. maybe if you included a picture we could better help you.

the little creatures are usually beneficial as they are scavengers and eat detritus. But if they are a parasite on the fish or eating the fish eggs, i guess you can use some medicine that contains copper. at least that works in marine tanks.

I can't get a picture of them because, they are too small.
I'm pretty sure they are copepods. They are tiny white disc shaped critters that scurry all over the gravel and glass. When my discus sit in the grass they usually come out with a few copepods on them. They fall off once the fish start swimming around but they are just gross. I understand that a few of them is fine but an over abundance of them makes them pests.
If they aren't copepods what do you think they are?
And will they hurt my fish?

i was gonna tell you to put fish in the tank.

i've never seen copepods NOT get eaten.

sorry, good luck!
