how to take good pic?

my pics keeps on coming blurry!
i have Nikon Coolpix S50 and Sony CyberShot DSC-W90 digital camera.
i do have macro setting on both of them. but somehow whenever i take pics it comes like this

any advice?

That's how mine look whenever I don't use flash while taking close up pics, kinda dark and blurry (I use Kodak easyshare). But when I use flash with autofocus and tilt the camera to the side, so the flash doesn't bounce back directly into the camera, I can usually get a pretty clear shot.

Also don't focus your camera directly on a fish, but instead try to focus it on a rock really close to the fish and then take the shot.
